Why’s it taken eight albums for German rockers Kissin’ Dynamite to provide you with this title? It looks like a little bit of a no brainer, actually.
Aptly sufficient, the opening title monitor does precisely what its title says, and certainly presents loads of pyrotechnic potential for the stage present. As a kick-off detonation it couldn’t do a higher job, setting the scene for what the band does so effectively – delivering 80s-style onerous rock designed to trouble stadia the world over.
From My Monster and the nostalgia-fuelled Increase Your Glass to The Satan Is A Girl and When The Lights Go Out, memorable hooks abound and no alternative for an anthemic refrain is ignored.
And only for a little bit of selection, nearer Not A Sensible Man finds the band breaking out the acoustic guitars for a little bit of a romantic singalong. Strike a match and light-weight that fuse.
