It’s been 10 days since Kendrick Lamar’s “The Pop Out: Ken and Friends” live performance, and the landmark celebration of West Coast artists continues to bear fruit. Now, Lamar, his pgLang firm, Tim Hinshaw’s Free Lunch, and collaborating artists have introduced a donation of $200,000 to charities and neighborhood initiatives within the better Los Angeles space.
Information of the donation comes from a Billboard report, which has an inventory of the 20 organizations that acquired funds, together with Boys & Ladies Golf equipment, Compton G.irls Membership, Tommy the Clown Basis, and plenty of extra. “We want to thank pgLang and Free Lunch for recognizing their roots and supporting g.irls from the hood,” Compton G.irls Membership founder Chrystani Heinrich stated. “It’s refreshing to know that Kendrick at all times comes again to the neighborhood to assist the following technology.”
Among the many artists who joined Lamar for the Juneteenth live performance had been Dr. Dre, Tyler the Creator, Ty Dolla $ign, Steve Lacy, Mustard, ScHoolboy Q, Roddy Ricch, YG, Jay Rock, and plenty of extra. The evening was closed with Lamar’s latest masterpiece “Not Like Us,” which was astonishingly carried out six consecutive occasions.
